KV Care offer bespoke care packages for people wanting to maintain living in their own home and retain their independence. We can offer trained and knowledgable care staff to assist with all aspects of care at home, this includes medication management and administration, personal care assistance, meal preparation and assistance to eat and drink, companionship, support to access social activities and support to engage with other health services. We create detailed and personal care plans to ensure you are provided with a service that meets your needs and we strive on being person led in all aspects of the service we deliver.
KV Care offer care visits to assist with specific tasks to assist in maintaining independance for as long as possible. Our shortest call currently is 45 minutes and this is based on assessment of need, we strive to achieve quality care and we feel any call shorter than this would compromise quality. We provide calls from 45 minutes to 24 hour care (assisted living) and provide assistance with medication, meal preparation and eating/drinking, personal care, laundry and light household duties. KV Care also work alongside health professionals to ensure customers receive holistic care and can continue living safely in their home. All care services are assessed and a personal care plan created to ensure our service meets your needs and reviewed continuously.
We aim to provide an outcome based support service which includes the promotion of social inclusion, building relationships and friendships, learning new skills and the most important outcome being having fun along the way. Our outreach support service provides customers and their parents/carers with respite time to themselves so they can do the things they enjoy most. Some examples of the fun activities we undertake are, cinema trips, trips to play centres, walks, bowling, meals out, Halloween and Christmas activities that are happening in and around the local area. KV Care also provide in the home respite care for parents of children with complex health needs. All our staff are trained in specific illness and disability and some examples of this are Autism, PEG feeding, oxygen management, behaviour management and moving and positioning. Where customers have a specific need we will endeavour to meet this and source training to ensure our staff teams can provide safe and effective care.
Please get in touch to arrange a care assessment and discuss your needs whatever they may be. We will try our upmost to make our care work for you.
We are excited to say that we have implemented the use of the Oncare care management system. This app allows families and friends to stay up to date with their loved ones care and support services in real time.
